What do a problem solver, a colourful creative, and a Disney Princess have in common?
They are all terms to describe me.I see my role in fundraising as a
problem solver. I enjoy connecting people and ideas. I get weirdly excited when I find
creative ways to match a donor's interests and strategic priorities to causes and projects.
If you want to get to know a fundraiser like me better, I like to ask these questions:
- When did you know that you wanted a career in non-profit sector?
- If you established your own Foundation what would it be?
- If it was possible, what is one thing about fund development you wish you could upload into the collective subconscious? My Answer: I am passionate about unrestricted funding and will happily discuss its need at any opportunity... you've been warned. ;)
Still wondering about the Disney Princess part? Outside of my work with the Mental Health Foundation you can catch me interacting with children and families as a volunteer charity cosplayer at children's hospitals, schools, and community events. (My most requested characters are Disney Princesses.)
