About me
I only recently joined the fundraising game. I've worked 25+ years in public sector communications (mostly in southern Alberta). I dealt primarily with issues management, communications strategy, and on-the-ground implementation. Some of my work was fundraising-adjacent (communicating fundraising initiatives). In a volunteer capacity, I was involved with some large fundraising projects in Lethbridge. Three years ago, I took on this current role, and it has been a steep learning curve and a lot of fun. I get to work with a great organization; I have an amazing team of people around me. I sometimes say we are Fun Development.
