Sharon Redsky and Tim Fox will explore their personal and professional journeys—offering insight into the pathways, challenges, and transformation that come with rethinking philanthropy through an Indigenous lens.

The session will highlight the Calgary Foundation’s organizational journey toward equity and Indigenous-led change, led internally by Tim Fox. From reimagining relationships with Indigenous communities to embedding reconciliation principles into governance and grantmaking, the Calgary Foundation’s story offers real-world lessons on shifting practice and perspective.

Together, Sharon and Tim will offer reflections, lessons learned, and ways forward for those committed to meaningful, community-driven philanthropy rooted in respect, reciprocity, and Indigenous self-determination.
