The United Way’s primary objective is to raise funds to allocate to charitable organizations, which in turn allows them to focus on their mandate of providing services.  We support all of Northwestern Alberta to help provide programming to create a positive community impact.

Our mission is The United Way is a voluntary organization whose mission is to acquire and coordinate resources to improve the quality of life for people in need. Our vision is a resilient and caring community where everyone thrives.

The United Way Alberta Northwest is committed to helping our students succeed with Tools for School and Period Promise programs.

Tools for School gives kids the tools they need to succeed; United Way’s Tools for School aims to reduce one known barrier preventing children and youth from successful learning and participation in school. Through the support of community donors and corporate sponsors, we continue to meet the needs of children and youth in our community.

Period Promise is a commitment we make by tackling period poverty; providing free period products in schools across Northwestern Alberta; along with product distribution, we continue to work towards education and empowerment.
